Decking Operator Wanted!

Are you hands-on with machinery and ready for afternoon shift work? A well-established and growing manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Decking Machine Operator to join its team. This is a hands-on role for someone with a background in machine operation, ideally in the steel industry, with a focus on precision, safety, and teamwork. Enjoy steady Monday to Friday afternoon shifts, free onsite parking, and a competitive hourly rate of $40.28 including casual and shift loadings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate roll-forming/stamping machinery to produce decking profiles
• Set and adjust machine specs according to customer requirements
• Load raw metal materials and unload finished decking panels
• Use cranes, forklifts, or hoists for material handling (if licensed)
• Maintain high safety standards and workplace cleanlines
• Ensure quality and accuracy in all finished products
• Work collaboratively with team members on the production line

What You’ll Need:

• Previous experience operating industrial machinery – essential
• Overhead crane and forklift (LF) licence – desirable, not essential (training provided)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Must have full working rights within Australia
